Detailed feedback on a large order

I placed a larger order this time, getting a couple of Variety Packs and some separate Teriyaki Beef Jerky for an upcoming trip. The website was straightforward to navigate, making it simple to add multiple items. Checkout was smooth. Shipping took around 5 business days to Colorado, which was within the expected window. Everything was well-packaged, arriving intact without any damage. The Teriyaki was a standout, very flavorful without being overly sweet. The Variety Packs offered a good mix of textures and spice levels. I contacted customer service with a question about an ingredient before ordering, and they responded within a day with a clear answer. Overall, a solid experience for anyone looking for good quality jerky and reliable service.

Always reliable, great flavor

I've ordered from Paul's Gourmet Jerky a few times now, and they're always consistent. This last order, I grabbed a big bag of the Original Beef Jerky, and it was just as good as I remembered from previous purchases. Shipping was quick, got here in about 4 days. It's why I keep coming back; no surprises, just good jerky every time.

Good jerky, minor shipping issue

I ordered the Jerky Subscription Pack to try out some new flavors. The jerky itself is high quality, especially loved the Sweet and Spicy Jerky. The texture was great, not too tough. My only real complaint was that the tracking update was a bit slow, so I wasn't totally sure when it would arrive. It showed up eventually, took 6 days to reach me in California, but better communication during shipping would be a plus. Good value for what you get though.

My go-to snack delivery

Just got my latest order, some Peppered Beef Jerky and a few BBQ Seasoning Sticks. It all tasted really fresh, like they just made it. Pretty easy to order online, no fuss there. My package arrived in a few days, which was cool. I just opened a stick for lunch, super convenient and good stuff.

Quick delivery, good flavor

Got the Spicy Beef Jerky. Ordered it on Monday, arrived Friday. Flavor was good and had a nice kick. No issues at all.

Can you use more than one coupon code at a time? Got a few from different places.

J Jacob Moore 2 weeks ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. Tried to stack a holiday sale with a newsletter signup once, didn't work.

W William Robinson 2 weeks ago
Unless it's a subscription product, then the discount is just part of the price, so you can't add another code on top of that either, afaik.

do they do a first order discount? trying to save a few bucks on my first try.

H Hannah J. 1 month ago
Yep, pretty sure they do. I got one when I signed up for their newsletter, usually 10-15% off.

N Nick Adams 1 month ago
I think so too, or if you sign up for a subscription box, those have a built-in discount which is usually better than just a single code.

What's the difference between the 'Jerky Subscription Pack' and 'I'm a Fan of Paul's Subscription Pack'?

A Alex Gomez 2 days ago
The 'Jerky Subscription Pack' is usually just jerky, and the 'I'm a Fan' one has more variety, like jerky AND meat sticks. I think the Fan pack is also bigger.

J Jeff Johnson 2 days ago
Yeah, the 'Fan' pack is more of a variety box, they throw in different stuff like the sticks. The basic jerky pack is just that, different jerky flavors. Depends what you're into.

Are their meat sticks gluten-free? I have a friend who's really strict about that.

L Laura Moore 2 weeks ago
Good question! I'm not 100% sure about every single stick, but a lot of their stuff is marketed as low carb/keto friendly, which often goes hand in hand with gluten-free. I'd double check the specific product page though.

J John 2 weeks ago
I remember seeing something about keto-friendly on their site, which often means no gluten. But always best to look at the ingredients list for that particular stick to be safe.

is the monthly club thing easy to cancel? don't want to get stuck in a year-long contract.

E Eric Hill 1 day ago
Yeah, it's super easy to cancel. You can just log into your account and do it whenever. No hassle.

Totally, I paused mine for a month when I was going on vacation, then started it back up. They're pretty flexible with subscriptions.

Hey, thinking of getting some of this for a road trip. How long does it usually take to get delivered to, like, California?

N Nathan Roberts 2 weeks ago
Mine usually gets to me in SoCal in about 4-5 business days. Pretty standard shipping times from what I've seen.

B Brandon King 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I'm on the east coast and it's usually less than a week. I'd factor in a few extra days for West Coast just to be safe, but they're pretty quick.

Thinking of sending a gift box to my dad for Father's Day. If he hates it (unlikely, but you never know), can he return it?

L Leah Wright 5 days ago
Since it's food, I don't think they take returns once it's opened or if it's just a preference thing. Probably best to check their policy, but most food places don't.

A Alex C. 3 days ago
Yeah, food items are tough for returns. If it was damaged or wrong, then maybe, but for taste? Probably not. Maybe try a smaller sampler first if you're worried.

Is this stuff actually good, or just another 'gourmet' jerky that tastes like cardboard? Comparing it to like, Jack Link's, is it way better?

S Sam Garcia 1 month ago
Oh man, it's totally different than Jack Link's. Way more fresh, and the flavors are actually distinct. Like, the garlic jerky actually tastes like garlic, not just generic spice.

P Patricia 1 month ago
It's a step up for sure. More like People's Choice if you've had that, small batch feel. Krave is probably closer in terms of 'gourmet' but Paul's has better spice.
